CEREMONY - Our wedding ceremony will be held on Saturday, August 22, 2009, at the
James C. Nicoll, Jr. Chapel at the Overlook Masonic Health Center* in Charlton, Massachusetts. The wedding ceremony will be at 1:00 p.m.
RECEPTION - The wedding reception will begin immediately following the ceremony with an Hors D'oeuvres and Cocktail Hour in the Overlook Hotel Lobby. We welcome you to dance and dine with us in the presence of friends and family.
*You're having your wedding and reception at the what? That's right, you didn't read it wrong. Our ceremony and reception is being held at a Masonic health facilty. When you arrive and see the 400 acre facilty you might just want to move right in. "The chapel is adorned with exquisite stained-glass windows, including the 1897 creation by world-renowned painter and stained-glass artist, John Lafarge." The original facilty consisted of one building, which now serves as The Overlook Hotel Reception Room. The reception room has historical elegance with beamed ceilings, wainscoting and original field stone fireplaces. The hotel lobby has a mahogany grand stair case, original reception desk, switchboard and field stone fireplace. This truly was a hidden gem in our own backyard. AFTER PARTY - The fun continues after the reception with an after party hosted at the home of the brides parents (Joan & Gene Senecal) in Douglas, Massachusetts. Join us as we throw our shoes off and kick up our feet for food and fun under the stars. Directions to Douglas from
